  1. Megan,
I absolutely love the quote you chose to use by Stanley Greenspan, his words have so much meaning behind them in this particular quote. We as educators must be willing to adapt and alter our curriculum, as well as our classroom environments to assist the needs of our students. Also the quotes by Raymond Hernandez is one that I will keep near and dear to me as I teach my students, because it is important to help those in our own community before we can reach outwards.

  2. I love the quote by Raymond Hernandez I think many of us in this field could relate to it. Ithe would be great if we could save the world! But the world is too big for one person to save. If we ALL work to help those in our community we are contributing to helping save the world.

This quote is very powerful, I do have the same idea of wanting to make a difference in the community I would be working in a the children that I would be working with. We simply cannot save the world but we can take the steps to make a difference in the lives of children 1 by one. That is where we begin and build from there to make a change.
